Dunkelly is a beautiful blue water cruiser / passagemaker. A very good sailer. Perfect for live aboard. Lots of space on deck
and inside. Lots of daylight. This ship is ready to sail!

Electrical installation
|
New system design, made by Bakker Yacht Electro.
230 V AC overhauled, separation transformer, recidual circuit breakers.
New Mastervolt charger / inverter 12V/2500W/100 A.
New service batteries 4 x 200 Ah Gel/12V.
New engine batteries maintenance-free 190 ah/12V.
New Mastervolt 12V/10 A charger for bowprop batteries.
Adverc charge regulator on second alternator, dedicated to service batteries.
Mastermate split diode for standard engine alternator, dedicated to engine and bowprop batteries.
New cables with increased cross section, heavy duty switches, heavy duty fuses conforming to EC-regulations.
New Mastervolt DC panel with MICC combi control panel, Mastervolt bilgepump panel and battery condition panel, 35 new Carling circuit breakers.
Wiring renewed where required.

Gas
|
Gastight hatch installed.
Fixing of gastanks improved.

Skin fittings
|
Skin fittings and seacock's replaced with new bronze skin fittings and new bronze ball valves.

Winches and deckgear
|
All winches and deck- and mastgear have been completely overhauled.

|
Hatches and windows
|
All hatches and windows have new rubber seals and have been remounted with Sikaflex.
|
|
Docking lines
|
New 4x 16 meter, 20 mm diameter.
|
|
Engine
|
New 4 cylinder 150 hp Cummins (new 2008).
During the process of building in the new engine the following points have been changed and improved:
- Engine foundation.
- Exhaust system.
- Fuelsupply tubing.
- 12 Volt cables between batteries and startermotor/alternators.
- Water strainer.
- Coolingwater tubing.
- Engine cable loom.
- Engine instruments.
- Starter batteries.
- Morse handles.
Overhauled and good parts of the old engine have been preserved and stored as spare parts, including:
- Cylinderhead (overhauled).
- Startermotor.
- Waterpumps.
- Oilcoolers.
- Alternator.
- Heat exchanger.
- Turbo.
- etc.

Hull below waterline
|
The bottom is sanded to the first epoxy primer coat and consequently rebuild with fresh layer of International Primocon and two layers of International self polishing antifouling.
15 cm of waterline is treated with hard antifouling (2011).
All zinc anodes renewed, and fixing renewed (2011). |

Pumps
|
The PAR electrical bilge pump is overhauled.
Including new membranes and cleaning of electric motors.
Waterpump is replaced by a new heavy duty Shureflow pump (2011).
Pressure tank coldwater system renewed.

|
Propshaft
|
The propshaft installation is completely overhauled:
- Propshaft checked on straightness.
- Outside and intermediat cutless bearings renewed.
- Stuffingbox replaced by “Sureseal” system.
- Bullflex coupling overhauled.
|
|
Tanks
|
The two fuel tanks have been cleaned and new ultrasonic tank senders are installed.
The two water tanks have been cleaned and new ultrasonic tank senders are installed.
|
|
Toilets
|
Toilets new/overhauled. Pumps and hoses renewed. All new double stainless steel cir-clips.
|
|
Safety rail
|
The teak-safetyrail on the aftdeck has been reinforced with 25 mm stainless steel tubes.
|
|
Sails
|
Cleaned and checked and stiches renewed where required.
New leech and UV-strip on genoa.
|
